If you’re  like most quilters you’re probably tired of spending hours marking your quilt top. With the Quilt Pounce it’s never been easier to do the most tedious part of making a quilt.  Using a Pounce pad basically involves two steps. First, position the stencil where you want to transfer it and second, rub the Pounce Pad over the design to transfer the chalk powder through the mesh openings of the design. Choices available:
Ultimate Pounce Pad:  Iron off white Chalk
This is our most popular Pounce Pad, the chalk dissipates with heat! Turn your iron on to Med- High (Cotton or higher) for easy removal of the chalk. It also washes out. It’s actually tailors chalk in a ground up form, it won’t build up on your iron or fabric. The adhesion to your fabric is great! It shows up on bold colors, darks and just about any solid as long as it’s got some color to it. Anything that has a white marble to it or prints that have white in them will make this chalk very hard to see, that’s when you would use one of our color chalks.

Blue Chalk Pounce Pad:  Brush/Wash off
Blue Chalk, for use on multi colors, busy prints etc. The chalk shows up well on darks as well as lights. Use when Pink is a prevalent color in the quilt for optimum contrast. This chalk may need some sizing spray or hair spray (aerosol) to increase the adhesion in some fabrics.

Barely Blue Pounce Pad: Brush/Wash off
Minimal blue pigment added to Ultimate Chalk. It does not iron off and tends to adhere well. For use on very light color fabric

Pink Chalk Pounce Pad:  Brush/Wash off
Pink Chalk, for use on multi colors, busy prints etc. The chalk shows up well on darks as well as lights. Use when blue is a prevalent color in the quilt for optimum contrast. This chalk may need some sizing spray or hair spray (aerosol) to increase the adhesion in some fabrics.

White Chalk Pounce Pad: Brush/Wash off White Chalk, for use on dark fabrics. This chalk may need some sizing spray or hair spray (aerosol) to increase the adhesion in some fabrics.
